About the founder 

Matthew is a rising junior at Glastonbury High School, a STEM researcher through Weill Cornell Medical Center for cardiovascular health, and the author of an original research paper,  "Discovery of Small Molecule Inhibitors of PCSK9 Using Virtual Screening as Potential Therapeutics for Atherosclerosis." He is also the recipient of the Laureate Certification in Advanced Science Research Writing. A dedicated cellist, Matthew studies with Yun-Yang Lin in Connecticut. Matthew has been a featured performer at the 2025 Carlsbad Music Festival in Prague, fourth chair at the 2026 New England Music Festival, and made his Carnegie Hall debut in May of 2026 after winning second place at the American Protégé Competition. Matthew is the founder of Musicmysteries.org, a music education website that teaches children about our great composers and compositions through interactive activities.
