Jacob is a sophmore at Glastonbury High School and is an accomplished violinist. He is an active member of his school's chamber ensemble and participates in high level festivals. Jacob earned fourth chair in the first violin section at the 2026 CMEA Eastern Regionals Music Festival and tenth chair at the 2026 New England Music Festival.
Tamanna Aravind is an eighth grader at Bethel Middle School who studies piano with Margarita Nuller and violin with Beryl Chacon. She is a violinist in the Principal Orchestra of the Greater Connecticut Youth Orchestras and performs on violin, piano, and flute in her school’s Premier Ensembles. Tamanna has won several piano competitions and will make her Carnegie Hall debut in June 2026. She also serves as a piano accompanist at King Street Church in Danbury.
Arya Samat is a violinist and a freshman at The Hotchkiss School, a researcher in oncology and environmental science. In addition, she has received awards from the CT Science Fair for a project researching Hornworm Caterpillars. She is also interested in the field of History and is conducting research on topics relating to East Asian History. Arya has also been a performer in the Carlsbad Music Festival in Prague.
Marc's cello journey began in 4th grade in the Squadron Line elementary school strings program. In 5th grade he became a student of Pablo Issa at the Hartt School Community Division. An enthusiastic student from the start, Marc completed all 10 Suzuki Cello books in less than 4 years. He has received an honorable mention in several concerto competitions, the first of which was in 8th grade. This year he was principal cellist of both the Connecticut All State Honors Orchestra and the New England Music Festival Honors Orchestra. Marc has spent his last several summers immersed in musical studies at various summer music festivals. This summer he is looking forward to returning to the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Cello Intensive.
